The Countdown Begins

Time is creeping up to my double knee replacement surgery. I'm getting nervous because I hate not being able to be in total control of my body and I won't be for awhile. Rehab is going to be tough but I will forge ahead.

I've been busy running around for one blood test and doctor appointment after another. I'm tired already! Plus, we just did a big art show this weekend. Or, should I say, I sat there while Ray did a big art show this weekend..lol.  It was a beautiful weather weekend and a successful show so all was good.

I love Florida !

This tree was massive. My son would have climbed that in a heartbeat when he was younger!

Another massive and very old tree at the park

Blue skies and lookin' up!
Now you know where I've been. Hope all of you are doing well.

Until next time, remember...

    1. I'm sure hoping. If I can just walk and climb stairs again, it will be worth it.

  3. Taking that mental deep breath, closing the eyes, and transporting a few weeks down the road... yeah, that's what I would do. Doubt it would work with that, though...

  5. Glad Ray had a good Show. Great photos and what fabulous weather you're having over there. I'm very envious! It will be a good thing when the ops are over. The sooner you can start on your recovery, the sooner things will get easier for you, with your walking. I shall be praying that all goes well and that He will comfort you during your recovery. "In quietness and trust is your strength". Lots of love and hugs coming your way ❤️

  7. Oh wow, that is coming up soon. Good luck! The rehab will suck, but the end result will be worth it! First item of business once your knees heal - climb that tree?

    1. Thanks so much. Before I climb that tree perhaps I should master a flight of stairs first?! Lol
